![]() More and more I have these conversations with my doll friends (a doll is slang for transgender women) about where to meet men in person. You can probably find just about any of these types with a swipe on a dating app, but what if you're a girl of the trans identity? The list goes on and on (enough to make your head spin). ![]() We all know the different "teams" of bros: the finance/real estate bros, the LES young creatives, the gym guys, the Brooklyn artists. It's often remarked that dating in New York City feels like a spectator sport - especially if you date men. ![]() ![]() ![]() Not typically the stories about how love is hard but the really romantic, can’t get enough of each other type love. While I may not know much about love, I’ve read plenty about it. I’m thinking of those couples you see as you’re scrolling through your News Feed, “married 70 years” and all of their advice is typically the same – it’s going to suck but most of the time, not so much so they decide it’s worth sticking around. Really, who does? It’s a bit of trial and error and a lot of compromise, from what I do know. |
